From our neighborhood: go west on Johnson Lane to US 395; south on US 395 to SR 88; west on SR 88 to Carson Pass. Park and pay the $5 fee, then jump on the trail to the right of the Visitor’s Center. Winnemmucca Lake is about 2.5 miles in. Take water and snacks…and enjoy!
